Ella Langley will perform at the 2026 Country Music Association Awards, where she leads the field with nine nominations. The announcement came from ABC and the CMA, which confirmed the lineup for the event airing on Nov. 18. Langley's total ties the record for the most nominations received by a female artist in a single year.
The broadcast features a roster that includes Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, and Cody Johnson. Also scheduled to appear are The Red Clay Strays, Tucker Wetmore, and Zach Top. These artists join a lineup intended to mark the 60th anniversary of the ceremony.
Lambert earned seven nominations for her work as a producer and songwriter. She co-wrote and produced Langley's 2025 single "Choosin' Texas." That song is nominated for three awards, including song of the year, and previously held the record for most consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It surpassed 23 weeks at the top spot, a streak previously held by Mariah Carey.
Lainey Wilson, who has won twelve CMA Awards, will host the show in Nashville. She expressed enthusiasm for the role in a press release, noting that the 60th anniversary makes the event extra special. Wilson has also hosted the ceremony during the previous two years.
The program will include a special tribute to Dolly Parton, who died in August at age 80. Her family described her passing as resulting from a brief battle with cancer. The awards show is scheduled to air from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Hulu will stream the program the following day.
