Fans holding tickets for the K-pop group Katseye in Chicago and Minneapolis must hold their seats for a later date. The band postponed two upcoming Wildworld tour stops due to the ongoing illness of member Megan Skiendel. The affected performances were scheduled for the evening of November 5 at the United Center in Chicago and November 7 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Both venues confirmed the changes through official social media accounts. The United Center advised attendees not to travel to the arena for the original date. The venue stated that doors would not open for the event and apologized for the inconvenience to ticket holders. The group and its members have not yet provided specific details about the nature of Skiendel’s health issue.
The Target Center issued a similar notice to fans in Minneapolis. The venue instructed attendees to retain their current tickets, as they remain valid for the new date. A replacement date will be announced in the coming days. This policy allows fans to keep their existing purchases without needing to exchange them immediately.
These delays follow a cancellation earlier in the week. On November 2, Katseye canceled its show at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit just before the performance was set to begin. The venue’s Instagram account stated that Skiendel was unwell and unable to perform. The message emphasized the need for her to rest and recover fully before returning to the stage.
Katseye has been performing as a quartet during this tour. The current lineup includes Lara Raj, Daniel Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung, and Megan Skiendel. This configuration began in August after Sophia Laforteza announced her decision to step back from promotional activities. Laforteza cited the need to prioritize her mental health and overall wellness.
Laforteza has stated that she plans to rejoin the group in January 2027. In recent comments, she expressed excitement about returning to the stage with her bandmates. Her return is expected to restore the full lineup for future engagements. The other members have continued supporting the tour while she takes her break.
Earlier in the year, member Manon Bannerman also announced a temporary hiatus. She cited the need to focus on her health and wellbeing as the primary reason for her break. Bannerman’s status has not been the subject of recent news, but her earlier step back reflects a period of personal health prioritization for several members of the group.
The Wildworld tour continues across North America. Fans are advised to monitor official channels for further updates on the rescheduled dates in Chicago and Minneapolis. The group has not announced new dates for the postponed shows yet.
