The Columbus Fury will open new courtside seating sections at Nationwide Arena for the 2027 season. The professional women’s volleyball team announced these venue changes on Monday, October 26. The updates include elevated risers and additional premium options.
The new standard courtside section will feature several rows of raised seats. The design aims to place fans closer to the net. The team says the layout will create a louder atmosphere similar to college volleyball arenas. Fans in these designated areas will have direct access to floor-level concessions and restrooms.
The Fury are also expanding their premium offerings. New courtside seats will be padded and located near the Lexus Lounge. These seats provide convenient access to food and beverage services. Like the standard courtside section, these areas will include floor-level restrooms and concession stands.
Ticket prices for the 2027 season start at $299 for a full season package. This price covers all 13 home matches at Nationwide Arena. The average cost per match in the season package is approximately $23. Single-match tickets will start at $29. Season tickets are available for purchase now through the team’s ticketing page.
The arena’s main concourse will host more concession locations. The team states these added stands will reduce wait times for refreshments during games. The changes are part of a plan to improve the overall game-day experience under the franchise’s new ownership.
Andrea Mitchell, a Fury co-owner, said the team spent the last six months planning these changes. “We’ve spent the past six months thinking about every way imaginable to energize our fans and offer them a game day experience that inspires them to come back again and again,” Mitchell said. She described the new ticket packages as a key step in the franchise’s future plans.
Mitchell emphasized the local interest in the sport. “No sport is more thrilling to watch than women’s volleyball, and Ohio has proven its love for the game. Our job is to connect fans with the Fury and build excitement about the future,” she said. The team has not yet released the full 2027 schedule. More information on single-match and group tickets will follow.
