Ohio Singles Can Apply for Love Island Season 9

ITV America and City Media Entertainment have opened the application process for the ninth season of Love Island USA.

The production companies are seeking eligible single adults from across the United States to compete in the upcoming season. The new season is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2027.

Selected contestants will live together in a villa in Fiji. They will remain in isolation for the duration of the season while attempting to form romantic pairings. Each couple that remains together until the end of the competition will receive a shared check for $100,000.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must complete a questionnaire containing 71 items. The form requests personal details such as name and career history. It also asks for social media handles and specific dating preferences.

The casting team also accepts nominations for individuals who may not apply on their own. Prospective candidates can be recommended via email to LoveIslandUSACasting@ITV.com. The email should include the nominee's name, the nominator's relationship to them, contact information, and social media profiles. Nominations are also accepted through direct messages to the Instagram account @loveislandusacasting.

The franchise originated in the United Kingdom before being adapted for American and Australian audiences. The U.S. version has previously filmed in the same location. The current application window is open now for those interested in entering the villa.
