Residents who frequent the Grandview neighborhood for a craft drink have one last weekend to visit a specific location. Endeavor Brewing & Spirits will close its taproom at 909 W. 5th Ave. on Thursday, Oct. 29. This marks the end of nearly a decade of operations for that specific venue. Customers can still find Endeavor products at the company's other location.

The brewery announced the closure on its website. It did not provide a reason for shutting down the Grandview site. The company also did not state where it will produce its beer and spirits after the taproom closes. The announcement invited patrons to visit for a final pint and show appreciation to the staff.

The Grandview taproom has been open for almost ten years. It typically closed on Mondays, leaving only a few days for a final visit before the official shutdown date. The space was known for rotating draft beers, seasonal cocktails, and snacks from local partners. After Oct. 29, the space will not be immediately vacant. Endeavor plans to keep the room available for private events through the holiday season. A final gathering is planned to thank regulars and partners, though details have not been released.

Barrel & Bloom at 2365 W. Dublin-Granville Rd. in Linworth will remain open. This location continues to serve Endeavor beer and spirits. It also offers coffee throughout the day. The Linworth spot stays open into the evening on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Customers seeking a specific pour of Endeavor spirits or beer can continue to visit this site without interruption.

Endeavor describes itself as Columbus' first brewstillery. The facility combines a brewery with an on-site distillery. The company makes and ages its own spirits in the building. Beer production started first, with styles inspired by the founders' time in Germany and England. In 2020, the brewery expanded into spirits. It released rum, botanical gin, dry gin, and vodka that year. The first aged spirits followed in 2022. That lineup included cask rum, cask gin, malt whisky, and bourbon.
